Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

Our Japanese Language courses prepare students to sit for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), jointly organized by The Japan Foundation and The Association of International Education, commissioned by the Japanese Government.

The JLPT examination is held on the first Sunday of July and  December each year.  Registration for the examination  opens in March and August each year.

There are 5 levels in the JLPT examination – Level  N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5. Students can take the level according to their ability and study. Students will be tested in the language knowledge covering vocabularies,  grammar,  comprehension and listening.  Students are required to understand Japanese used in everyday situations and in a variety of circumstances.
