A one-time registration fee of $20 is payable for new students.
This is a two years’ course. The purpose of this course is to enable students to master Japanese to a high level, to know around 10,000 words and 2,000 Kanji and has a high command of the language, providing a useful base for study at a Japanese university. Students would be able to read passages with complexity on a variety of topics. They would also be able to understand orally presented materials such as daily conversations, news reports, spoken at natural speed in a broad variety of settings. At the end of this course, students can take the JLPT N1 examination conducted in July and December each year.
